The Addams Family at a Theater

Just a small notice for those who might find this interesting:

Tampereen Työväen Teatteri (is the name of the theater) is bringing a musical comedy The Addams Family to the stage at Tampere, Finland this autumn. The first show is 3.10.2013 (pre).

The story starts with Wednesday being adult and planning to marry a normal guy. So what happens when this normal guy and his smarty parents are coming over to the Addams' for a visit?
At least a lot of music, haha.

[Official sites] (Finnish only)

Tickets: 34,50e/person
Tickets sold at [here].

As for other things... if I'm supposed to wake up tomorrow somewhat like a human being, does it mean that I can't watch some Supernatural now?

Animecon X Report

Gah, where did this week go? I better do this post now, or it will be officially late too.

Last weekend , 13.-14.7.2013, in Kuopio, Finland, the tenth [Animecon] was held. I, [Giko], [Lon] and [Talu] headed there day before, for the that place is a bit far away and taking train on 13th would have made us miss half of the first con day.
I did have a camera with me, but Giko's was bigger and fancier, so mine was just sulking in the bag. Aside of the first picture, all the photos are by her. By clicking her name in the start of this post, you can see more pictures she managed to take~

Fancy camera, fancy camera. I wouldn't mind owning it~

Black Top Hat & High Collar Shirt & Platform Shoes - Secondhand // Pinstriped Long Vest - Gift // Cross Necklace - loaned from Lon // Knee High Pants - F+F

Cup noodles with champagne, just what normal people eat around 24:00 in a hotel.

Randomly pointing on the program. On the first day there was something to attend for almost every hour! Rare and nice.

For reason X, everyone was going mad with those. Prolly half of visitors carried one home.

This is the announcer/commentator of the cosplay contests.  And she is made of awesome, being able to entertain the audience even for longer times, when the judges needed some time to do thinking.

Persona team! I love persona. Must go play some...

Kuopio's symphony orchestra performed a selection of musical pieces out of anime series/movies. And that was the best thing in the whole program, I swear. It sounded so epic...

Yay for.. knees!

...I have no idea what that blue cu--thing is doing on my bag! No idea! *shifty eyes*

Do not turn around, Giko...

Lunch Money was the game of the weekend. I had just bought it few days before Animecon, so none of us had played it before. But after the weekend, we had gotten a good hang of it. It's pretty good, yup.

It was a good con, and a nice weekend trip for summer. Super hot, but maybe it balances the fact that this week that followed it has been very rainy and cold.. I hope we will get some more nice days, to do more trips and to eat ice cream. Yeah.

As for other things.
I finished Clavell's Gai-Jin (alright) and started Herbjorg Wassamo's Dinas bok (maybe has a translation to english under name like Dina's book, or Book of Dina). Also being very addicted to Persona Arena and neglecting my Guild Wars 2 characters.

Lumous Report 2013

[Lumous Festival '13] took place in Tampere, Finland last weekend, and naturally I loomed somewhere in the corners... that's a lie. Somewhere on the dance floor is more like it. Ready for some bad quality pictures? Good, here they come.

The day that the festival started and the only day that I had off work. Starting the things up at Dog's home, listening to few bands (missed the first one, I'm afraid) and mostly talking with friends who I hadn't seen for a good while. Jen managed to drag us all to dance floor even though I had all the intention not to. And afterwards I was rewarded with first abrasions for the weekend. Ouch!

I was wearing a gorgeous green plaid dress by Lip Service, a tiny zombie bag from Iron Fist and nice platform pumps by Demonia and all I have of that is this murky pic. Yay!

I had bought two-days -ticket for the festival, just in case, because for the rest of the days I came to Lumous straight from work. This way I didn't need to worry about getting in... Met more people, got a new social link (yes, I'm playing Persona atm) and danced some more. Was rather nice altogether even though the work had got me tired and I wasn't exactly on social mood, haha.

Spiritual Front

It's proving to be impossible to put the camera on anything in here, so it was being a pain trying to get any shot of what I was wearing. Such a shame for today's outfit was my favorite this time!

Pinstriped Top Thing & Pinstriped Skirt - Lip Service // Black Top & Studded Bag - Secondhand // Spider Necklace - Alchemy Gothic // Silver Earrings & Bracelet - Kalevala

So dark, so dark, and that mirror is too short and tiny for me -and not even mine! Agh!

On Saturday I got out of work a bit earlier (nice, I had come to 9:00 after all, worked for 10h, and I did stay till the last performer last night), jumped into a car and gathered friends on what we then called "Lumous Taxi" for the rest of the fest. Even the car was black, so it suited us perfectly too! More talking, more people and some more dancing. Sadly Deviant UK had to cancel their gig. But Wreckdance filled in for them. And yes, I was carrying a camera around, but yet again I was too shy to actually take pictures of people, even though I would have loved to do just that.

Dark Side Cowboys

Black Tulle Skirt & Studded Bag & Lace Shirt - Secondhand // Ram's Head Waist Corset - reStyle // Black Top -H&M // Jewellry - Selfmade or random

Still searching for a good place for camera, still not working. Sigh, I hope I'll get my own apartment soon!

The last day of Lumous, and I'm working again and therefore missed the Gothnic as well as a blog meet that took place there. Oh, well, at least some good moneys I got (and later spend at a game store)! I was on an eve shift so I got out pretty late and missed the performers of the day, but made it perfectly to The End club, which is usually the best part of them all. Lots and lots of dancing and singing. Thanks for those who were there! As always, the cameras were banned from The End, so here is one more bad shot at the dressing rooms, before I headed to Dog's Home. Since it's the end club, I just dived into something comfortable...

What a fancy pictures I have served you today! Haha!

Black Dress - Secondhand // Skull Necklace - Europe House // Bird Skull Earrings - selfmade // Bird Skull Hair Clip - reStyle

And yes. The next day... I was very bright at work. Thank goodness I managed to change the original 7:00 morning shift to an evening shift..!

As always, I had good time, but the festival seemed to go by in an instant. Since I needed to make fast shifts from work to Lumous and then to sleep to wake up to go to work again... it was fast and I couldn't concentrate and enjoy it to the fullest. Looking forwards to the next year's already, hoping to get that weekend free -at least partly, haha.

Disney Couture

Welcome Therese! I hope you'll have fun reading my blog!

This has been hanging on my tabs for forever. And then it got lost. And was found again. So I suppose everyone already knows, but why would that stop me?

Well, everyone does love Disney movies, unless there is something wrong with your upbringing.
I didn't mean that, really, but let's say.. many love Disney. For those, Disney Couture surely give giggles and good spirits with their jewelry that takes inspiration from Disney's works, from Cinderellas to Pirates of Caribbean. And there is some really nice looking pieces in there. With, well, high prices, but that doesn't mean you can't stare at them!

For those, who have money and so: The shop is located in Australia (and New Zealand), they ship internationally and they seem to be using eway in payments (I'm not familiar with this one).

Some cute things from their sites:

"Make a wish and take a bite" engraved on it.

With quote "Listen with your heart."

  "Beauty Lies Within."

These four... welcome to my jewelry box any day!

As for other things.
I'm still living in a cardboard box. And I so want to sew things, but so don't have the time.

Remember how I managed to dislocate letter R on my keyboard? Now the same happened to W as well. So if those two at times seem to be missing from my text, please forgive.

Oh! I wrote some gametalk in LJ, for those interested, see [Portal 2] and [Spyro the Dragon].
The blog chess is on hold still, until I find my chess board from some of the boxes!
