Interesting Links

From the depths of a room organization day hails the lazy person who seems to have a natrual talent for distracting itself...

I have few tumblr sites that I have stumbled upon and now is just the perfect moment to share them.

[Fuck Yeah, Tattoos!]

Tumblr sites that have numerous new tattoos daily from all around the globe.
I have a huge soft spot for cool tattoos and I hope you will find these sites as interesting as I do.

Few photos from them:

[Porcelain Princes]

A tumblr site with fitting name, containing pictures related to ouji style.
A relatively new tumblr, but hopefully it will have a great flourishing future ahead.

Few pics from their sites:

[Kitschy Living]

Unbelievable amounts of more and more odd things. As they put it: "If it's tacky, ugly, quirky or wonderful, you'll find it here."
Delightful stuff, and colorful. Mheh.

(Thanks to [satusankari] for this link xD.)

Hellou, it's spring alright -no, wait, is it summer already? Pretty lazy one, using my time mostly by wasting it, training kung fu and harassing summer job applications. Happy.

Black/pink wedges. This years summer shoes were just as unpractical as last years. Ouch. But cute as anything, ain't they.
15e secondhand (originally from H&M).

A Pentagram necklace, I just couldn't resist it when I saw it. Even though I'm not a great fan of colors like bronze and gold.
Propably around 15e, from another blogger. ( [This] pretty lady.)

They decided to start teaching me kata's of Vuong ton cong tu, ie. a fan. I'm happy with this, for it's quite light (unlike some of the swords and spears): I'm no good with heavy things -__-. And ain't it pretty.
I first used a fan of our group, but since I feared to end up breaking it, I ordered this.

I'm practicing Thíêu Lâm -kung fu, which is based on traditional chinese Shao Lin -kung fu.
For more info you can check our [website] (finnish).

The "gloves" or "sleeves" on the background were bought due their print. Pretty crosses, hurrdurr. Backstreet 5e.
The scary heart eyed skull with crossbones for my patch jacket. Backstreet 1e.
Blue nail enamel, Seppälä around 3-5e. Can't remember, shame on me.

Two books from few weeks ago that I saved while bringing in some of my dad's old chess books.
I also saved a part of Wheel of Time series again, but it was so neatly in my bookshelf that I didn't pull it out for a photo.

And whose idea was to take one Wheel of Time in english and split it into three parts in finnish?! Screw you, they cost a lot and take more space than is legal. But they do look pretty.
I ended up starting to buy them in finnish, and realized their... endlessness too late to -without pain- change in buying them in english instead. They could have used smaller print and lighter pages and kept a book as one instead of three. I say it again: screw you.
(It's also so long since I read them through, that I ain't even sure if I like them still as much as to give them that much space in my lodgings. ..then again, they are pretty...)

These I saved just today.
The black shirt has cute sleeves and it fits perfectly into my aristo coords. And it costed me only 4e, secondhand again. And in mint condition. Ha. I might fancy to put some special buttons on it perhaps..
The book is a nice addition to my reference book collection. Lots of nice photos. It's price 7e, though since I was bringing in my mother's detective story books, I didn't need to pay anything for it myself.

As for other things..
I finished Clavell's Tai-Pan, and watched it also as a movie (from a VHS, ooold xD).
Started Dragonlance's The Dawning of a New Age by Jean Rabe.
Still hunting the optional bosses of Digital Devil Saga.

Dance of the Vampires - Vampyyrien Tanssi

The mighty musical, Dance of the Vampires - Vampyyrien Tanssi, is taking place in Finland this autumn and as if I could go on without mentioning it in this blog. (I was supposed to make this post ages ago, but I never got 'round to it.)

The musical is based on Roman Polanski's film called The Fearless Vampire Killers (or Pardon Me, But Your Teeth Are in my Neck), a comedy horror film from year 1967, originally titled Dance of the Vampires. The musical is written by Michael Kunze and it's musics are composed by Jim Steinman. The show's premiere took place in Vienna, Austria 1997 under the name Tanz der Vampire (directed there and then btw by Polanski).

The music is described to be beautiful, filled with gothromance and rock.

The story is set in the late 19th century Transylvania. Somewhere there is small village with garlics hanging all around the houses and people. As professor Abronsius and his young assistant Alfred come around in search for evidence of the existence of vampires, the villagers deny all the knowledge of those nightly creatures.
Soon as the two arrive, things start to happen. Alfred has his eyes on Sarah, the beautiful daughter of the innkeeper, yet he ain't the only one for Count Von Krolock, a vampire, has set his eyes on the girl too. And as the count lures Sarah to his place, the vampire hunt begins.

There are music, dancing, dresses, vampires and all sorts of mighty epicness. How could you ever go and miss something like that? The Answer: You just can't.

The theatre in question is located in Seinäjoki, Finland.
There is two previews 8.9. and 9.9.2011, the premiere 10.9.2011 (sold out) and the normal shows start 16.9.2011.
The tickets:
adults 38.00e
students 28.00e.

The theatre's sites (finnish only) [here].
Dance of The Vampires in [Wikipedia].
A link to the song Gott ist Tot in [Youtube],
because me and blogger had a small disagreement with uploading the video right in here.

Also here is a Facebook page of the finnish production in english [click].
Thanks for this link tip to [Valancy]!

They better do this well, those Seinäjoki people, I love theatre and musicals, so they better be all in with this~

(The greatest piece I have seen so far must be Cyrano De Bergerac (performed in Tampere, Finland), I loved it in many ways and I was in tears when it ended, and it has been the only play where I would have loved to stand up to applause had I dared and later greatly regretted that I didn't, for as I looked around I realized I wasn't the only one greatly affected by it (so they would have very likely followed my example).
There is many great pieces but I'll save you from the mass of text I could put in here.)

Ah, who is a fast happy blogger, who is ... *talktoacutepuppyvoice*

Today there was a happy piknik thing with these three:
Jacket & Shirt & Shoes & Tophat & Clock Necklace - secondhand // Vest & Bird Cage Necklace & Pocketwatch - Gifts // Collar - selfmade // Pants - F+F

Epic walking.. oh, not us, but the two who walk ahead of us of course.

(I sat on one like that while taking the pic. I'm very respectable person again.)

My cousins daughter's birthday party (two years old, lovely kiddo). I'm her godmother (and I should try to be a better one too, ahhaha...).

But no mighty load of photos from this day:

Jacket - secondhand // Necklace & Jacket's Patches - Nitrobabe // Vest & T-Shirt - H&M // Purse - GinaTricot

...I also had a skirt and pink leggings, just can't remember where they were bought from, but since you don't see them, the info ain't too relevant.

I also got my stomach to ache while eating too much candy while reading James Clavell's Tai-Pan, managed to bruise my own leg while waving kung fu fan around and got beaten by a group of demons in DDS. Damn. Game Overs in a tunnel run? No way. Revenge shall follow.

An Enfant Terrible Meetup & Saving Things

Right! I'm running late with my updates again! This meetup here was 16.4. or something, and I'm making this entry... weeks late. Whops.

Err, I think it was just an general meetup, without a bigger theme this time. We walked around Tampere to find good locations for happy photos and ended up sitting in Wayne's Coffee and talking for hours.
Few new faces again, lot's of people I had already met. Time nicely spend, etcetc.

I totally idolized her curls: you could pull them and they jumped back (and in my imagination they said "bojojoingg" too).

My outfit was:
Vest & Jacket - secondhand // Tophat - Secondhand antique // Camee - Lace- "Tie" - Seppälä // Final Fantasy VII Ring & Necklace - con souveniers // Collarshirt & Gloves - Offbrand // Shoes - Aaltonen

Also managed to get this very respectable looking aristo to pose with me.

I then again... can't keep looking clever for too long.

I'm very respectable, very resp---!

Saved the pretty ribs & heart necklace from Backstreet.
The Backstreet in Tampere is leaving, so they sell everyhting with -20% and more.
I'm planning to save at least one dread fall thingy still, they look so nice (and I look like I'd have lots of hair on my head).

These two are secondhand pieces, 3e & 4e.
The one on the left I bought for it's going to be summer again, which means no jackets, and well, I love long sleeves (also when worn you can't see if I have gotten few bruises at kung fu , ahhaha). It's light and the sleeves have nice looks. Not made form my favorite material, but will do.
The one on the right fits perfetcly and has a beautiful neckline. Also, I have had an urgent need for this kind of garments. It's pretty u_u~.
Oh, and both naturally black, even though the photo shows them rather grey.

As for other things:

I need to dye my hair again! Aaargh.
I need to buy some knee high socks, black. All have been worn to grey and worny.
I need to go to see a barber, my hair is all overgrown and yucky.

I also need to clean up my room again (it loves to fall into chaos all the time), part with some stuff to make more room, update this weekends stuff here, practice piano and play more GAMES *love*. Err. (Now playing Digital Devil Saga, just 'cos you really wanted to know u__U'.)
